Joan Brady

Painter & Ceramicist

"Joan Brady is a classically trained artist whose work is shaped by coastal living and close observation. After seven formative years on a remote island in Maine, she now works along the quieter rhythms of Maryland's Chesapeake Bay. Across painting, ceramics, murals, and trompe l'oeil, Brady explores the hidden intensity within landscapes and still life, revealing moments of stillness charged with presence."

Marisa Evangelista

Painter

"Marisa Sheena Evangelista (b. 1998) was born in Thailand, but for most of her life, she grew up in Maryland, USA. She has a long term goal of exploring implied narratives that exist beyond her paintings and enjoys work that echoes a sense of mystery. While she uses her self as a reference,
she doesn’t typically consider her work as self portraits. Instead, she sees herself as a character in a painted narrative."

Nichole Leavy

Mixed Media

"Nichole Leavy is a mixed media artist whose symbolically rich body of work centers around mysticism, family, and pop culture. The imagery is drawn from personal experiences as well as those shared in our collective consciousness. She is always on the hunt for interesting materials to use in her art. Thrift stores estate sales, and even the roadside have held hidden treasures disguised as junk."

Angela Petruncio

Mixed Media

"I have been exploring found art since 2007. Of all the various forms of artistic expression I have attempted throughout my life, I find this to be the most freeing and satisfying. I have always felt the need to tell a story in my creative process. The objects themselves indicate to me what the narrative will be. I may give the observer hints as to the stories that lie within through the titles of my work, but am happiest when people make their own connections for themselves. There is no “right or wrong” way to interpret these pieces."
